Save the Date by Jenny B. Jones

This story of a woman who runs a home for out-of-the-system foster girls and a former football star running for a political position is full of humor, good life lessons and a story line that will keep you reading well into the night.

Lucy grew up in a single parent home, never knowing her father. Attending a private school, she suffered the put down of her classmates because she was not from the same social economic background they were. Along comes Alex who is from a well to-do family and has political ambitions. Both need help achieving their goals in life and strike a deal to help each other reach them. Along comes life and during the months of their friendship they find there is a need for much forgiveness, love and acceptance of all that life has dealt them.

Jenny Jones, an award winning author, has authored other books that I am going to look for. I recommend Save the Date to anyone wanting a good Christian fiction book that has the potential to open their eyes to situations in their own life.
